Shipping & Delivery Policy

Columbus Appliances is a local retailer serving Columbus and Central Ohio. We deliver directly with our own team and also offer free in-store pickup — we do not ship appliances by mail or common carrier.
Delivery area
We provide local delivery and installation throughout Central Ohio, including Columbus, Grove City, Westerville, Dublin, Reynoldsburg, Hilliard, Central Ohio. If you're near the edge of our area, please contact usand we'll let you know whether we can deliver to you and what the fee would be.
In-store pickup
Pickup is free at our showroom, 3755 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207. We'll let you know when your item is ready, and you can bring your order number to pick it up during business hours.
Delivery & installation fees
Local delivery is not free; fees are based on your items, distance, and access:
- Standard local delivery (most appliances) — $50
- Large refrigerators (French door, side-by-side) & laundry stacksets — $100
- Add-on — carry upstairs (above ground floor) — +$25
- Add-on — dishwasher installation (each) — +$150
- Add-on — over-the-range microwave installation (each) — +$150
Freestanding appliances get courtesy install (placed & connected) and old-appliance haul-away free. Furniture installation is not offered.
Your delivery and installation are calculated automatically at checkout and included in your order total — you pay once, with no separate bill later. Delivery is calculated automatically and any installation or carry-upstairs add-ons you choose are added — all paid once at checkout, with no separate bill later. This covers standard, accessible delivery; for unusually difficult access we'll contact you about any additional fee before delivery. In-store pickup is always free.
Scheduling
After you order, our team contacts you at the phone number you provided to schedule a delivery or pickup time. You can request a preferred date at checkout, and we'll confirm availability.
Special-order items
Some products are special-order items we bring in from our distributor. These are clearly marked, and delivery typically takes up to 2 weeks. We confirm timing with you after you order.
Inspection & damage
Please inspect your appliance at the time of delivery or pickup. If anything arrives damaged, tell our delivery team right away or contact us within 48 hours so we can make it right. See our Return & Refund Policy for how we handle damaged or defective items.
